Maybe there should be a /news/

It seems like /lounge/ discussion is 50/50 as far as the content. Seems like a weird juxtaposition. Or is that what /prog/ is for?

That doesn't sound like a bad idea, actually, but I think that sets a weird precedent, since it was ultimately /prog/ that was responsible for this site's existence, isn't it? When you post on /lounge/, we're doing it in the context of having come from a certain /prog/ in one form or another. /prog/ is basically why this scene is thriving, why this forum more than any other is so active.
