I'll admit the first episode was not what I expected, but I'm actually enjoying the pace right now, since I'm really watching it for the atmosphere, not for an intricate plot or for action. A lot of the time I feel like an anime suffers as a whole because each episode has to contain a required amount of action.

I didn't expect Amagami to be so damn enjoyable. The plot itself is shit, but you will like it if you like pretty girls (not just kawaii moeblobs) and haven't masturbated in the last few weeks.

A word of warning before you watch Aria: it's a series about fucking nothing. However, if you're the person to easily get attached to cute characters, you will greatly enjoy it.
