Looking for a lightweight SNES emulator for Linux

Name: Anonymous 2014-06-26 4:39

Bsnes and Zsnes are both shit.

You can easily implement one yourself in Symta.

Of course not, you write the emu so it is an os itself, don't need that extra layer.

BSNES (now known as higan) is known to be the most accurate SNES emulator.

Just grab Retroarch and use its higan SNES core, it's probably the easiest way to to get the most original SNES experience.

Super Famicom looks like poo.

i would rather use the US version; it looks so much nicer and sold a lot more units as well, even though it had a shorter run than the super famicom.

emulators are illegal, but snes9x is very good

But they are not, saying that qemu is illegal for implementing x86 would have more possibility to be true

Incorrect, though distributing ROM dumps is illegal in some countries.

mednafen isn't really lightweight, the binary is 10 mb and it emulates many systems, but give it a try. I haven't had any problem with it. BSNES is more accurate but it's slow as fuck because of that.

Did I mention anything about where I live? Because I don't believe I did.

It's actually great being a well-off, privileged white male. I don't get all the hate.

I don't think there is anything well-off with being you.
