HAS REDCREAM RESHAPED /LOUNGE/ AS WE KNOW IT?

Name: Anonymous 2015-05-12 8:59

If you look closely at the state of /lounge/s in 2015, you find that the presence or (forced) absence of RedCream is what defines the board. Let me demonstrate:

Since RedCream begun posting here this place has changed from /g/reddit-lite to quite pleasant -- even the Administrator turned from ban-happy asshole to non-entity after RedCream emerged as a prominent voice here.

All Tablecat's discussion is, of course, entirely dependent on RedCream to keep afloat.

World4ch went to utter shit and then implemented CAPTCHA for no reason. As soon as RedCream got banned.

4ct's /lounge/ is absolutely terrible and worthless as it has always been. RedCream has never posted there.

All other /lounge/s are wastelands with one or two middling threads posted a month, not worth mentioning here. Again, RedCream never posted on them.

In summary, it appears the presence of RedCream dictates whether a /lounge/ will be worth posting in or not. Has anybody else noticed this?

No, that was us on /prog/ that caused it. Sorry about that.

That was just one necrobumping bot or really obsessive autist.

RedCream is nao the critical element in a successful /lounge/ board, like the flaor in a cake, the iron in a swoard, or the roal in the admission.

Dubs are now the critical elements in a successful /lounge/ board, like the flower in a cake, the iron in a sword, or the role in the admission.

The maximum oaccurance of dubs in any thread approaches a recurring limit of 1/11 oar about 0.0909, hence 9.1%.

If dubs poasts were removed from a thread, the substance of the thread remains intact.

If we include trips (considered categoarical "kin" of dubs), that limit rises to 1/11 + 1/111 = 122/1221, oar about 0.0999, hence about 10%.

I can oanly conclude that dubs are not a thread-critical element.
