People apparently have no problem with a universe that started out with only 2 fusing elements (hydrogen and helium) that resulted in a complexity of 92 naturally occurring elements via stellar gravitational nucleosynthesis (and then some stellar explosive nucleosynthesis), and then they have no problem with those 92 elements forming thousands of molecular compounds, many of which we term "organic". Throw naturally-occurring lipids into solution and they form sacs very much like cell walls. Amino acids form in energetic environments with great ease. RNA has been seen to self-template. And so on.
YET, they balk at the idea that life arose as just another complexification from the same line of physics, chemistry and geology. Why? Why will they not admit that role?
