To me it just signals a further increase in national security powers, - we know all too well who benefits from these attacks first and foremost.. It doesn't seem like the best strategy to make your opponent stronger until they hopefully/eventually implode

I think we can learn from the national security approach to transparency.. There shall be no friendly, opt-in approach to transparency, instead it shall be forced upon the government like it has the rest of us.. Whatever complaints and concerns the government has shall fall on deaf ears.. There is no room for such arguments when the security of a nation is at stake!
