Changing your name to something cool

Are there really any consequences to this? If I legally changed my name to Queer Killah how could I be discriminated against for what would appear to be the actions of my parents? "Mr. Killah" is how I would be introduced to clients at work, and when they find out my first name is Queer I just keep a poker face. What do you think?
