Even if global warming/climate change is as bad as they say it is, it still seems like it's just an excuse to levy taxes towards more corrupt and useless crap. Like (((Rahm Emanuel))) once said: "You never want to let a good crisis go to waste."
Today I turned on the news to learn that we've once again reached a record high here in the state I live. With that in mind, the difference between the first record and the present one is only five degree Fahrenheit, but that's all you need for things to be literally inhospitable to much of the fauna that was here previously. You stupid yanks only care about what's right in front of you, and dismiss blatant evidence that affects other people simply because you aren't directly affected. Even many of my redneck friends agree in the existence of global heating, not in some preachy, I'm-more-conscious-than-you sort of way, just as blatant, obvious fact, albeit with a different outlook than myself. There are tons of idiots preaching about how we should stop global heating, but just because they're stupid and ignorant and their logic is broken doesn't mean that you should pretend like it's not an issue, or there aren't more reasonable people--reasonable enough not to fit into your petty strawmans--who share their same sentiment.
>>3 It's not about whether or not "global heating" is happening or not (whether by anthropogenics and/or by other means), but that a possible legitimate issue is being exploited to collect more tax shekels towards things that have nothing to do with addressing the issue at hand.

>>6 That's actually fair, but that's clearly not what the other posts are suggesting. And a lot of times, you conflate dismissing flagrant Jew-ery with dismissing obvious fact.
