Have you ever woken up and been unable to move or do anything? That's sleep paralysis!

Sounds more like depression; I recommend seeking help.

No. Depression is not wanting to move or do anything.

Sleep paralysis is not being able to move or do anything.

Oh boo hoo, you are just unable to move because you are sooooooo sad. Here's an idea: try manning up instead of looking for excuses on wikipedia.

Stop projecting, buddy. I said nothing about depression. When you bring up a very specific topic out of nowhere, it says nothing about me, but everything about you. Why is sadness on your mind?

The world is a sad place, child. One cannot just pretend sadness doesn't exist and focus exclusively on "sleep paralysis" their whole lives.

Sleep paralysis is usually considered to be demon-related. Of course, the soy-squad will argue that the feeling of something (spoiler: a demon) sitting on your chest that is associated with this type of paralysis is merely a psychological interpretation the mind makes of paralysis around the chest. But most scholars argue that it could easily be the other way around, which would make a lot more sense.

These demons(aka astral parasites) are attached to the area around your brainstem, where motion control neurons exist. You can add a few strong magnets to this area(e.g. under a pillow) and you'll never get sleep paralysis.
