Hoarding

Nowadays, all you need is a phone, computer, bed, clothes, hygiene products, and kitchen utensils. Anything else is materialistic hoarding.

Phones are actually overtaking desktops and laptops as the computing device of choice for most people. I still have to use a laptop for programming, but the average joe can get by with just a phone and nothing else. So if anything, you should be saying people don't need computers. Not that people don't need phones.
