I think ending the discrimination against pedophiles who have acted on their urges in the past is the first step towards healing the pedo/hetero/lgbt chasm. Things like sex offender registries and public records of offending seem designed to keep pedophiles out of society even after their legal punishment is complete, which is undeniably cruel and unusual treatment.
Until we stop treating pedophiles with unconstitutional contempt we will never be whole as a society, and our secret shame over the mistreatment and exclusion of pedophiles will fester. What you as an individual can do is vote for pedo-positive politicians at every level, accept pedophiles into your life (particularly around your children), and donate to any "outed" pedophiles you hear of.

It's seriously embarrassing how backward tardlets are in my country, literally going on pedo witch hunts and getting peoplpe fired just for trying to demystify pedophilia. If I make it as a STEM student I'm leaving and never coming back. The big cities are good but the whole middle part of the country is fat stupid and beyond saving.
