So why prostitution is illegal?

Name: Anonymous 2019-06-13 5:59

People in charge of making laws are unwilling to offer honest and logical explanation, all they say "prostitution is amoral". They refuse to expose the real reasons behind making prostitution illegal.

Same way they are unwilling to explain why drugs are illegal, using the same "amoral" hand waving.

Uncontrolled spread of STDs and infectious diseases, mafia/organized crime power, human trafficking and kidnapping encouragements, debasement of human relations with sex acts being viewed as material goods(without emotional connection, causes psychological problems and resentment of active party).

Uncontrolled spread of STDs
Like their wouldn't be massive regulations.

mafia/organized crime power
Much greater with the current sex prohibition.

So they can collect fines instead of taxes?

Sex is mega disgusting, they probably made it illegal because it is so yuck.

SaaS is uber gross and I'm literally barfing even thinking about it. If there were SaaS ads nothing would get done due to all the people dry heaving for hours after seeing one.

1. STDs can be eliminated by requiring both clients and works to pass medical tests.
2. Mafia exists only where something is illegal. If prostitution is legalized, sex workers wouldn't need Mafia to protect their business.
3. Human trafficking is possible only when prostitution and immigration are illegal.
4. Human relations and family value are not important, we have overpopulation.

1.In economic terms the STD tests have costs both in time and currency, which allows non-testers outcompete the "proper prostitutes". Being illegal is cheaper.
2.Nope, it can perfectly operate and demand protection from a legal business. Think of a "Ruthless Corporation" without moral restraints and little respect of law.
3.Nope, its like saying "murder exists only where people killing is illegal", its muddying the terms:
Human trafficking is not immigration, its slavery.
4.They are cornerstone of society, without stable families fabric of society disintegrates.

Murder exists where human life costs nothing. Both USSR and Nazi Germany were overly moralistic regimes banning prostitution and homosexuality, yet they murdered millions. When government starts talking about morals, it is planning mass murder.
