The first round of voting will not yield ant clear winner and it will fall to the superdelegates to vote on the winning candidate.
Yang is laser focused on these super delegates as he knows they are who the race will come down to. He also knows the primary battle will get bloody and every prominent candidate will sustain fatal blows as they attempt to appeal to "moderate" dems in preparation for the general. Yang, by staying under the radar and only spewing ultra-libshit garbage, will be able to avoid sustaining any serious attacks prior to the second round of voting. This clean image coupled with his strategy of wooing superdelegates is what will get him toe to toe with Trump in 2020.
