Antediluvian environment was similar to Australia, except everything was much larger and even more aggressively poisonous. One can draw a straight line from Australia through India through the middle east to Europe, except that the landbridge connecting Australia to India is underwater since the flood. But we can see Southern Indians (low caste) are very similar in appearance to Australian natives, except the South Indians are still more refined in appearance and behavior. This is because Australia, being symbolically cut off from the new world by the actual cutting off of the landbridge, became a 'snapshot' of the old world frozen in time. Except post-flood the environment is less oxygen-rich so the abominations have all shrunken in size dramatically, but we can see how it used to be and we can thank God for sending the flood and hope for another shortly.
