Is there anything objectively wrong about pedophilia? I'm not attracted to children in any way, but I don't completely understand what is so horrible about it? Only consensual of course.
>>1 What impact do you think acts of pedophilia has on the kid?

Pedophilia is believed to have occurred in humans throughout history,[113] but was not formally named, defined or studied until the late 19th century. The term paedophilia erotica was coined in an 1886 article by the Viennese psychiatrist Richard von Krafft-Ebing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedophilia#History
All psychology/sexology/psychiatry was invented by German/Austrian/Jewish doctors in the late 1800's central Europe specifically from 1879 to late 1890's. By a coincidence, feminism/communism/etc and early 'social justice' stuff began at the same time with decline of monarchism and industrialization. If you look at this 20 year period, its the bridge between industrial modernity and technological post-modernism, everything become standartized and uniform 'products' and 'categories' of technology/media/culture. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Industrial_Revolution

The problem with it is twofold first the human brain isn't fully matured until about 25 or so. Children have vastly diminished decision making capabilites, especially those that only pay dividends long term. There's a reason kids won't eat broccoli unless you make them. second is because of the above children are vastly disempowered compared to adults. Children lack almost any kind of self-determination and experience with adult things like responsibility, judgement, and critical reasoning. In fact, we view the children that DO have experience of this sort largely with pity because they're typically growing up without one or both parents ie street urchins.
Combine these two factors together with their size and frailty and children are in an extremely vulnerable position vulnerable position to deceit, coercion, and flat out sexual violence with little recourse. At the same time, they lack the mental faculties to give informed consent and we can hardly expect the people trying to get with children to give them a fair and unbiased explanation of what all sex entails.
The idea of "consensual sex with a minor" is, especially on a large scale like some kind of platonic ideal: a curious notion derived from first principles, but completely detached from reality and ergo impossible in the real world.
