In a recent exam, my students received inconsistent results using an MC1458 op amp -- some observed triangular distortion due to slew rate, whereas others did not. One who did not verified that the spice model stated the correct slew rate as a parameter, but its effect was not observed. It appears that students who did not observe the effect of slew rate were using a 30-day trial version.
