There is something so spiritual about channel surfering.

The long forgotten act of just sitting on your couch or your bed, remote in hand, flipping through different television channels searching for something to hook your interest is unmatched. Usually there will never be anything good on TV. This has long since been replaced with the often chaotic scrolling through endless content options on a streaming platform. Yet this cannot even come close to the pure essence of sheer nothingness that comes from surfing cable TV channels.

If you still have cable TV or a digital equivalent (e.g. YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV, or Sling TV), I recommend taking a day to yourself to just surf through the channels even if there isn't anything interesting to watch. It'll be like a trip back through time to the late 20th century. You'd be like Beavis and Butt-head.

"and then you ask
'but i dont even know where your house is"
"then they get angry, naturally, because they realize
any drawing on a stomach can be bad
even with nice ink
or terrible heart content
or hell, prayed.

and then the americans, they said good morning,
to another american. mostly someome who live down stairs! and not poor, and not WHILE poor.

booyah!

and then its fine
because dale carnegie died
and if he had lived
youd be dead,
or not born.just, not born.
