It's basically p2p in the browser without flash.

Yeah, but that's bullshit. Making a ``UI platform'' out of the web will always suck as much as making a racecar out of a wheelbarrow. Sure, you can cover it up and paint it and rely on Moore's law until the average consumer won't be able to tell the difference, but it will still be worse than a correctly designed racecar, and it will make the wheelbarrow a less effective wheelbarrow. If you want to make platforms, make them correctly instead of bolting shit on to something else popular.
