WebRTC is a free, open project that enables web browsers with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities via simple JavaScript APIs.

It's basically p2p in the browser without flash.

People who work in small groups can self-manage a small number of self-contained systems like what happens in small businesses or homes.
