We need a thread too. Neva forgot.

*forget

I'm so ashamed to mistype that.

Wa-wait spammer-san. We haven't talked in a while. Wouldn't you like to stay for a bit?

Don't worry spammer-san, the only bully here is admin-sama, and I don't think ey isn't awake right now. Quickly, before we are banned, what tor-enabled method of contact /prog/ing would you prefer?

Name: >>6 2014-01-19 8:44

hold on, I think I'm going to try to figure one out...

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-19 9:37

would it be too fukin edgy if i created a channel for /prog/ on irc://irc.anonnet.org/ ?

I would prefer a less lel so random anonymouse one, but they all seem to block tor, or require tor to be used with a nick, which requires an email address for registration. I guess I could host one as a hidden service.

Name: >>9 2014-01-19 10:11

nevermind they block tor too. I'm not sure what's up with their name then.

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-19 18:41

OK this one should do:

http://www.oftc.net/

ircs://irc.oftc.net:6697

channel, #prog

I just created it (I think). The server doesn't block tor, and in fact hosts the irc channel for tor discussion. Please don't spam it. I mind you spamming the channel, but I'd rather not hurt oftc.

*I don't mind you spamming the channel, but...

Someone should make a new thread about the IRC channel, briefly explaining the idea of IRC bot challenges that were planned to make /prog/ more fun.

The title and content of this thread aren't exactly the best for this purpose.

irc is for faggots and queers.

also niggers

Aaron Swartz would probably be happy to seem people doing the types of things that /prog/lytes do. I say we just fill this thread with /prog/y things.
