Why are programmers such pseudo-intellectuals?

I mean you don't see electronics engineers come up with some stupid social commentary about why a particular group of people aren't using a particular (albeit of extremely high quality) brand of tool.

The USA has the most retarded politics on the planet. It's a nation of completely clueless morons when it comes to anything concerning matters of the state and its realtionship to societly.

Please leave your country one time and go somewhere else and share your views. You will be met with extreme confusion or laughed at.

I have witnessed first hand Americans trying to discuss politics outside of America, to my great embarassment for them.
