I was watching King of the Nerds the other day and it had all sorts of nasty shit on it like bronies, japanophiles, pokefags, larpers, but no programmers. They even had contestants that were just engineers, but no programmers. This is clearly a sign that society no longer views programming as nerdy but cool.
