Porting Touhou to OpenGL and Linux

Valve just released a wrapper for Direct3D, so now with some help of SDL and Boost we could have a version of Touhou for Linux!!

Are you happy? I am happy.

How is this different from what Wine does? I know Wine works by providing a Direct3d API that maps to OpenGL, but the readme for this is very sparse, so I can't tell if it's doing anything significantly different.

How can't you see the difference between a program that catches api calls and a library? though it's not really useful in the current state... but we will see a fork for sure

I didn't see anything. I just skimmed the readme and saw ``This is a transition layer. It can do X, Y, and Z'' with no indication on how it works (or even how I'm supposed to work with it). For all I knew, it could have worked exactly like Wine. I was hoping that someone like you would give me a one-line summary so that I wouldn't have to waste my time looking through the source tree of something I'll never use.

Which you sort of did, modulo actual strictness of definition, so thanks, I guess.

Wine has (had?) a library that - among other things - was supposed to translate API calls at compile time.

Inconsistent use of tabs and spaces so things don't align properly. Ugly code.
