Is this possible with Raspberry Pi?

Hey, I know this isn't programming-related, but there are a lot of RPi users here.
I'm thinking of buying a Raspberry Pi, but I've never had one, and thus I need a feasibility study. So, is this possible with RPi?

1. Connect it to a network router and run an I2P client on it.
2. Connect from a normal computer to the RPi via the same router.
3. Enjoy high-speed I2P connection while helping the community by keeping a permanently running node for only 3.5 Joules per second.

So is will it work? Thank you.
