Questions

I am an Internet Anthropologist and have recently discovered this interesting and unique Internet Culture. I have some questions for you.

1. Why do you stylize your quotes as `` '' instead of the normal " which results from shift ' ? What is the origin of this use?

2. What does "san", "kun", and others mean? Obviously they are of Japanese origin and seem to be used more in Japanese animation instead of real life. They seem to be the western equivalent of "bro" or "friend". Why do you use them and not the western equivalents?

(Not necessarily a question as it is a suggestion and command) 3. Write responses to the kind of questions you think I would ask. This is a technique know as "short-cutting" in the sociology world and makes my life and yours much easier.

Thank you for your time.

Holy shit fucking hive mind! I was thinking the exact same thing, but I didn't post about it. It's a remnant of Usenet discussions and it is oh so fitting for this board, but it is also a bad habit. Little can be done about this; our post discussion is like small talk. Small talk can't possibly be like article arguments. You are free to memorize your oppositions post and reply to it as a whole I guess. Just don't be mad when you're picked apart out of context!
