Further, some academics (at least in the Arts) are prepared to release papers freely, sometimes by publishing in one of a number of open access journals. You may also wish to consider contacting the authors of articles directly, who may be prepared to release manuscripts, abstracts or summaries for your review, or even discuss their work with you directly.
