Someone is offering me $150k+benefits per year to do javashit with node.js, this country is fucking ridiculous:
I'm not a doctor saving lives in Africa. I'm not a teacher in a ghetto trying to give a chance to poor kids. I'm not a journalist risking his life reporting war crimes in Gaza... I am a stupid nerd who can write idiotic code for a fucking company that is probably making to world a worse place!
What I'm supposed to do with so much money? buy a lisp machine and a hard copy of TAOCP and LOL?? even if I donate the rest of the money to charity there are thousands of enterprise engineers out there getting paid for doing nothing useful, meanwhile in Mexico a child is prostituting her self just to eat!
I really hope all this craziness ends soon so I can go back to my university and do research and developing for pennies.
