Torvalds offered a the-work-is-what-matters sort of response, stating, according to Twitter accounts, that "the most important part of open source is that people are allowed to do what they are good at" and "all that [diversity] stuff is just details and not really important."

Mean while, SJW's are calling for Torvald's head on a platter. People who have likely never contributed a line of code to anything in their miserable lives

What I don't understand about these threads is why everyone argues with the people posting the stories, or even says anything at all ``defending'' their position, as if anyone here actually disagrees with them.
