Torvalds offered a the-work-is-what-matters sort of response, stating, according to Twitter accounts, that "the most important part of open source is that people are allowed to do what they are good at" and "all that [diversity] stuff is just details and not really important."

Mean while, SJW's are calling for Torvald's head on a platter. People who have likely never contributed a line of code to anything in their miserable lives

Marginalizing mental illness.

You know I never really thought about it, but it always bothered me how people throw around words like crazy, psycho, and mentally ill like they are doctors since they self diagnosed as bi-polar and read about the DSM on wikipedia.

Like I have spent a not insignificant amount of time in mental wards and, other than the nicer places I have been sent where a fair part of the patients suffer from a terminal case of attention deprivation disorder, the vast majority of patients in state run facilities are living hellish half lives. If they are not drugged completely to oblivion most of their life is a shitty failure since they are incapable of getting their shit together long enough to not fuck the dog since they are too busy self medicating to deal with the fact that the world is so completely strange and disturbing.

So yeah now that you mention it, it is weird how they throw these words around to make a point, and completely devalue the meaning that the psuedo-scientist who coined them were trying to create to justify charging an involuntary patient thousands of dollars a day(on the states dime) to poison, abuse, and manipulate them.
