Torvalds offered a the-work-is-what-matters sort of response, stating, according to Twitter accounts, that "the most important part of open source is that people are allowed to do what they are good at" and "all that [diversity] stuff is just details and not really important."

Mean while, SJW's are calling for Torvald's head on a platter. People who have likely never contributed a line of code to anything in their miserable lives

This really sums it up, to be honest. It's also why this /prog/ was always doomed to be worse than Golden Age /prog/; because almost everyone who made /prog/ /prog/ had already left long before Mr^Vac_Bob retired and moot froze the textboards.
