Isn't tor just bad?

all that it did was enable people who would never have sold or used herion to do so thanks to black markets..

If you have nothing to hide, don't use Tor.
Also, tell every website your location, and browser fingerprint.
For added bonus, never log off from Google, Microsoft and Facebook services.
