FP

I think that Functional Programming is almost as much of a hoax as Artificial Intelligence. I have yet to see an interesting piece of code that comes from these FP people.

You seem to lack the ability to think about concepts. You can only think of instances of the concept in the real world.

So because there might be an FP language that has to copy everything, that constitutes a valid argument against all of them, even the ones that don't.

While we're talking about things that don't exist, I'll just assert that in imperative languages, mutations are not done in place because it might be running on a VM built on top of Datomic. So imperative is just as slow and has a worse type system. Ta-daa.
