Starcraft II has much less of an emphasis on macro/resources as it's economy management is much more shallow than broodwar's (scii has linear mineral income and 2 gases per base which discourage aggressive expansion). The new editor and scripted maps, which have the potential to be more impressive than the TFT and BW custom games, aren't even being played by anyone due to the abysmal battle.net interface that no one wants to look at much less interact with.
