You have to be careful. IE: don't use pictures of people that are CC'd, they probably didn't get a model release from the person pictured.

I've only used pictures of foliage from wikimedia commons thusly.

Who cares about the fucking authors and their feelings? Why should I be bothered with persuading author to accept my pull request, when pointing deficiencies in his code would only anger him?
