>>42A lot of people die as a result of life. In fact, all deaths are caused by life, so is life something to be ashamed of?
Ultimately, humans are social animals, and they form social groups based on various characteristics: race, religion, ethnicity, political beliefs, subcultures, favorite sports teams etc. These social groups then engage in rivalry and struggles of various sorts. And in this social, unindividualized struggle, the rational thing (=the way to improve your chances for survival and reproduction) to do is discriminate people based on the group they belong to. If black gangs beat and rape your white neighborhood, the rational thing to do is to unite and start beating all blacks who try to invade. That is racism, but that isn't the reason people die - the real reason is human nature.
If there were Protestant gangs beating and raping your Catholic neighborhood, the right thing to do would be become militant Catholics; if there were Irish gangs beating and raping your Haitian neighborhood, the right thing to would be to hate and beat everyone Irish, etc. It's just how humans work, you don't ask an Irishman with a baseball bat on the street if he happens to be a peaceful vegan painter, you call up your Haitian buddies and make him eat shit. Humans are social like that.
