Perl is like being Jackson Pollock of programming

I really like Perl but programming in Perl is like being Jackson Pollock of programming. It's great to code in Perl, feels awesome and free and all but if you take a look at it afterwards, it's basically unreadable unrecognizable splatter all over the place

If the Perl you write looks like shit, it's because you are a shit programmer. It's more than possible to write beautiful looking Perl code.
