When I reported that systemd is missing an explicit dependency on the required Linux kernel version (Debian bug #771561) to Debian, reportbug silently attached the contents of my /etc/fstab (Debian bug #743158).
That's very alarming.

A few days ago, a friend of mine upgraded her laptop from Debian Wheezy to Debian testing with apt-get dist-upgrade. As a result, the system would not start.

So don't use testing? What a stubborn article.

The point of testing is to find some bugs before the system is deemed stable. There is no point in having a testing release if people don't report bugs they encounter. I presume that blog writer actually understands the purpose of participating in a testing release and that he's not some random random shithead who twists the purpose of what's available.
