actually I really like dwm, I've been using it for months. I even submitted a patch.
it's dwb i don't care for. how can you call a browser minimalist if it still uses a very large library for 99% of the work.

I still prefer wmii. I don't know why they seem to have disowned it.

I've just gotten rid of the annoying "dwm-6.0" in the upper right corner. dwm is actually nice, it's good having a WM whose source code is C that you can edit in 5 minutes.

It might be just MyMachine(tm) because I always had intermittent issues with dwm. Windows won't always switch between floating and tiled. Switching between screen doesn't mean the window on that screen will show. And input isn't always recognized.
I've settled with xmonad because those issues don't exist. It's a shame because dwm is much faster and not a memory hog.
>>13 Yes it is. dwm - 1MB (2^0, i.e 01) xmonad - 2MB (2^1, i.e 10)
that's an order of magnitude difference

>>14 Then according to you KDE also uses an order of magnitude more memory compared to dwm? Following your logic: dwm - 1MB (201^0) KDE - 201MB (201^1)
