KDE is turdware

It's meant to be super configurable. I can't even configure this:

The key marked `Ctrl' on the left of my keyboard is Super
The key marked with a windows logo is Shift level 3
The key marked with a context menu is Shift level 3
Capslock is Control

And when I configure it via xmodmap then KDE does some shit whenever I connect or disconnect my mouse and I have to run xmodmap again, and because xmodmap is it's own kind of turd and the way it keeps state is undocumented (it does not start from a clean state every time you call it!), I have to run it n times before it has the desired effect, where n is hitherto unkown to me.

I can't wait for Emacs 25 so I can just exwm.

That's not KDE, I have this problem on i3 as well (with my keyboard though, not sure about the mouse). It must be an X issue.

Anyone know how I can get a shell script to run whenever I plug in a keyboard?
