Monads —"the fatal disease"— belong more to the problem set than to the solution set.

It is practically impossible to teach good category theory to students that have had a prior exposure to Haskell: as potential category theorists they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration.

The use of Haskell cripples the mind; its teaching should, therefore, be regarded as a criminal offence.

Monads in CT are useless anyway. You should be thankful we found a way to make your impenetrable academic bullshite useful.

CT is useless anyway. CT should really be called "structure theory" because it's about things like taking an array of pairs and a pair of arrays, and then proving that you can isomorph one into the other. A whole fucking revelation there, genius.

impenetrable academic bullshite

I feel sorry for you if the basic general considerations like joining two things into a pair, then taking out the first and the second element of that pair are "academic", "impenetrable" "bullshite" for you. You must be really struggling with those things called "thoughts" there, buddy.

Your reasoning is shit!

My quantum type system has arrays of pairs, and pairs of arrays, but arrays are only of length 2, and each object is simultaneously a pair and array until further observed.

I'm conflicted:

1. Jews did haskell
2. Haskell is literally hitler
3. OCAML is jesus; though no very disciplined, being french and all.

So which is it, OP? Make up your mind already!

Spoiler: OP is just rephrasing an old attack on using BASIC in schools.

Category theory is everywhere. People don't see that because they mistake it for the ignorant, dumbed down shit you find in Haskell.

No, they aren't necessarily about BASIC, the third one was about COBOL.

PL/I --"the fatal disease"-- belongs more to the problem set than to the solution set.

It is practically impossible to teach good programming to students that have had a prior exposure to BASIC: as potential programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration.

The use of COBOL cripples the mind; its teaching should, therefore, be regarded as a criminal offence.
