The moving average filter

Apparently, you can implement a low, high or band pass filter in terms of a moving average filter. You just have to know what weights to apply to the most recent samples.

I won't bore you with the details.

I learned this years ago, but thank you for the refresher.

I wouldn't really call a convolution a moving average filter.
