I love chatting and sharing photos and videos with my friends on social media, but lately I'm thinking a lot about creating my very own Instant messaging app. So, how does one go about doing it?

This is so trivial, I had implemented one in C + BSD Sockets back when I was in the 6th of elementary school.

Easy: hex-encode the string. It is impossible to express racist, misogynist etc. ideas using 0-9A-F, so you're safe.
