What counts as volunteer service on a school application?

Can I count my torrent seed ratio, wiki edits, FOSS PRs, and Yahoo! Answers as proof of my altruism?

There's no other way for me. I'm applying to a pharmacy school because fuck being a codemonkey. I have a 98 percentile PCAT score but a 3.1 GPA (CS) and zero volunteer experience. I hope I get in otherwise I'll be stuck writing non-Lisp shitware the rest of my life.
