Why do people trust a charlatan who talks out of his ass?

I'd love to hear a charlatan talk out of his ass. How does that work, does he install speakers into his ass when it's fully grown or does it get installed when it's still a baby. Or perhaps the ass is skinned and then he drapes himself with the skin of his ass.
