What WiFi card do you have in your device? Are you experiencing this problem with other devices? Try booting from a different distro. If sourcecode is available for your card, build it and see if it works better.

if you have a fiber connection you need to make sure you dont have auto-negotiate enabled

Windows Solution: reboot the OS. Linux Solution: recompiling the kernel.

Install Gentoo.

First time i tried to compile A gentoo kernel few years ago, i've spent several days hunting down all these obscure kernel settings to make it least bloated and still boot

Also, to mention why i'm actually switching to Lunix is that Win7 was the last OS i could trust, and i stopped playing video games(with exception of html5 board games which run everywhere). With all the recent push to install win10, i decided to quit it and i'm converting relatives to xubuntu/lubuntu since i'm sick of repairing and reinstalling windows.
