Idea: Fix terminals

You are probably familiar with terminals being shit and annoying.
copy/paste working wrong. typing splaying the text over multiple lines. Resizing not working right. Line breaking failing. lots of annoying stuff.

We could fix it all. Here's how: Terminals are controlled by a bunch of escape codes. We just need to design a new escape code language that isn't retarded. Then go fix every userland program that emits escape codes (readline, shells etc.)
