Rust is now faster than C

How can this be? Since C is as fast as assembly, does this mean Rust does some microcode optimilzation under the hood?

ah yes, the all-powerful Lisp machine industry which controls the world. and they want everyone to use C because undefined behaviour makes C an acceptable Lisp!
