None of the future sites will ever be. You only need to read a few posts here or in the other boards people are advertising to realize that. Over five years have passed, the gap is too big and it's too late to assimilate newcomers now. It's okay though. We have our memories.

This site has also been around considerably longer than goatfinger, so it is the most likely to still be around in the future

Goatfinger

Aside from the name, the fact the entire site feels like /lounge/--their admin sounds pretty clueless. From what I've heard, he's just some /g/ro that decided he wants to take over /prog/rider's place and decided to spam the other boards. Problem is that he even says it himself that it's basically a ``textboard /g/'', which makes sense because he also copy-pastes threads from /g/ and the other sites. It took him days to even figure out how to edit HTML, and the site is under daily spam attacks. I have a bad feeling about this guy, and I wouldn't trust him either as it seems like he'd drop the site as soon as he gets bored.

Old site, but not only is the moderation awful (redirect to last measure on ban), but you can tell of the quality of the posts just by looking at the front-page. Also like goatfinger, this site is shilled & advertised everywhere. I recommend not going there as it's worse than 4-ch.

Tinychan

The main site is full of /b/tards, and these textboards are probably the slowest of boards listed above. I guess since this site been up for 8 years it could be stable but don't know much about this.
