I don't touch webdev with a 10 foot pole, but from what I've gathered, one of the biggest problems with js is that there is a new hyped framework every n months. I don't know why the fuck this happens but it will continue to happen with Lua.
The problem is too shitty developers, shitload of indians and hipsters writing mediocre code, and of course brogrammers.
