My problem is with retards like OP thinking that just because other retards love making shit threads, he thinks that this is perfectly acceptable behaviour.
You could have made this shitty thread in https://dis.tinychan.org/lounge/, https://dis.tinychan.org/anarchy/ or https://dis.tinychan.org/test/ (where the admin posts), but instead because you were dropped on your head as a baby--you thought making a non-programming related thread on a programming board is normal. No one would have cared had you posted on any of those boards.

Seriously. Why do you do this? Does it bring you joy in your sad, pathetic life? Does this make you long for the glory days where you could spam the same thread 100 times and no one will do anything?

If you die tomorrow, the quality of this board will still increase.

Thank you for speaking out. The level of the nonsense, off-topic shitposting is at ridiculous levels, nearly saturating 100% of the board. And, to be honest, I don't mind the occasional off-topic shitposting, /prog/ has always had that and it's how its memes came about, but having said that, the aforementioned shitposting didn't saturate the entire board end-to-end for all time as seems to be the case today.

Is it because dis.tinychan.org defaults to /prog/? Is that why? It's a theory I'm putting forth. I engage in much better discussion just shooting the breeze on /lounge/ with random topics than I do here with programming.
